World T.E.A.M. Sports CEO and President, Van Brinson rode the 2010 Sea to Shining Sea. A past Face of America participant, Van served in the US Marine Corps. An avid cyclist, he lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and two children.
A graduate of the University of Missouri, Marki Burnett is a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps. Reporting for Basic School in the fall, she is from Jefferson City, Missouri.
A recent Boston University graduate, the East Longmeadow, Massachusetts native is an avid Boston sports fan. Nathan Byam-Mooney has a great love for photography and will pursue a career as a Naval aviator.
A director of the 2010 and 2012 Sea to Shining Sea cross-country rides, Mike Claver currently serves as a Pastor at his Morton, Illinois church and teaches disaster preparedness at Illinois State University.
From Santa Clarita California, Courtney Chambliss is a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps. She enjoys camping, hiking, swimming, running and raising pigs.
A junior at the Pomfret School, Austin Galusza enjoys discovering new places by foot or by bike. He plans to become a filmmaker and will video document the CanAm ride.
A past participant in the Sea to Shining Sea cross-country ride, Bloomington, Illinois resident Howard Hill works for State Farm Insurance. An active runner and cyclist, he has finished 13 marathons.
A recent Boston University graduate, Jonathan Knapp is an Eagle Scout and a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marines. Enjoying hiking and sailing, he will work on a ranch this summer.
University of North Carolina at Greensboro student Brinson Langley is a six time participant in the Face of America ride. He has also participated in other outdoor events. A social media specialist.
Juan D. Lopez
A College of Engineering student at Boston University, Juan Lopez is a 3/c midshipman and hopes to become a Navy SEAL. Originally from Colombia, he is passionate about outdoor activities.
An MIT Senior studying aerospace engineering, Bridget McCoy is active in the Navy ROTC. The Aurora, Illinois resident enjoys hiking, running and camping, and many other outdoor activities.
Brian Petras serves as the team mechanic. A participant of several World T.E.A.M. Sports events, Brian is currently pursuing an education at Ohio’s Kent State University.
Oakdale, New York resident Anna Quinn serves as the Administration Support Manager for World T.E.A.M. Sports. An avid hiker and camper, Anna is also an experienced photographer who has traveled outside of the country with her husband and children.
Director of Communications for World T.E.A.M. Sports, Richard Rhinehart is active in cycling, hiking and cave exploration. Based in Denver, Richard previously worked for USA Cycling, VeloNews and Womens’ Adventure Magazine.
A retired veteran who spent nearly 22 years of active duty in the US Marine Corps, Marlana Robles lives in a small town near Louisville, Kentucky. She has engaged in numerous veteran and civilian volunteer programs. A proud mother of three grown children, two being Marines, Marlana has two grandsons.
A volunteer for the Face of America and other events, MaryAnn Rosolino’s Marine Corps father was wounded in the Korean War. The American Portfolios employee enjoys travel, reading and event planning, and is close to her daughter.
A recent Boston College graduate, Rachel Saunders enjoys cycling, surfing, hiking and photography. Her interest in Latin America will lead to a year-long immersion program in Ecuador this Fall.
A Boston University graduate, Michael Simpson is a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps. A staff member at the 2012 Sea to Shining Sea ride and Face of America volunteer, Michael is from Lodi, New Jersey.
A crossfit trainer and 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps, Margo Smutnick is from Pomfret Center , Connecticut. She is a finisher of the Tough Mudder at Mount Snow, Vermont.
An Indiana University senior majoring in Nutrition Science and Pre-Med, Brianna Webb enjoys boating, running and spending time with her friends. A resident of Southern Indiana, Brianna aspires to become a Pediatric Oncologist.
An active volunteer and fundraiser with Face of America and Sea to Shining Sea, Sandra White loves travel and animals. Married for 30 years, her son is a third generation Marine who was stationed in Iraq.
An avid runner and cyclist, Josh Zins also enjoys backpacking, kayaking and white water rafting. From Washington, New Jersey, Josh is a Naval ROTC student at Boston University.
